Ronald McDonald House Central New York is honored that Ryan and Melissa O’Donnell, a former Ronald McDonald House guest family, have generously volunteered to serve as the Honorary Chairs of the 2026 Many Hearts One Home Celebration. The event will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026, at the SRC Arena and Events Center at Onondaga Community College.
“We are proud to partner with the O’Donnells as they share their family’s Ronald McDonald House journey and help raise awareness and support for families facing a child’s medical crisis,” said Beth Trunfio, president and CEO, Ronald McDonald House Central New York.
The O’Donnells received medical care in Syracuse and then in Rochester where they stayed at the Ronald McDonald House within the Hospital during their daughter’s heart surgery, more than six years ago.
“When our daughter faced heart surgery, Ronald McDonald House made it possible for our family to stay close to her, easing burdens we didn’t even realize we were carrying,” said Melissa and Ryan O’Donnell, former guest family of Ronald McDonald House and 2026 Annual Many Hearts One Home honorary chairs. “More than six years later, we are deeply grateful and honored to support an organization that gives families strength when they need it most.”
